The theme of the 2018 General Assembly of the Netherlands Royal Association of International Law is “Climate change: options and duties under international law“. Three papers will be presented which address climate change from the perspectives of human rights law, private law and the law of the sea. Mr. Roger Cox, who has represented environmental organizations and movements in major climate-related court cases, has also been invited to deliver a presentation on procedural aspects of climate litigation.
