Call for Papers: Law and Development in High-Income Countries | LDI Conference | Bucerius Law School, Hamburg | 6 November 2020 (deadline for abstracts: 31 January 2020)

The Law and Development Institute (LDI) and Bucerius Law School invite the submission of abstracts for their conference in Hamburg, Germany, on 6 November 2020 focusing on law and development in high-income countries. Submissions are sought on the following topics:

– Poverty and Inequality in High Income Countries and the Role of Law

– Legal and Institutional Frameworks for Growth and Stability in High Income Countries

– The Role of State and Development in Industrialized Countries
International Trade, WTO and Substitute Institutions.

The deadline for one-page paper abstracts is 31 January 2020.

Additionally, the programme has been announced for the 2019 LDI conference, “Law and Development: From the Islamic Perspective”, to be hosted at the University of Dubai, UAE, on 7 – 8 December 2019.
